Method

Step 1
Split the M&S ultimate brioche burger buns (4) in half.
Step 2
Whisk together the eggs (4) , light brown sugar (60 gram) and milk (40 g) . Add the roll halves to the egg mixture and allow to soak for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 3
Halve and stone the cherries (200 g) .
Step 4
Heat a large frying pan over a medium heat, add a small knob of butter (1 knob) and a drizzle of sunflower oil, then place half of the roll pieces into the pan and cook for roughly 2 minutes on each side, until golden. Cover and keep warm while cooking the remaining 4 roll halves.
Step 5
To serve, place a piece of the French toast onto each plate, then add the crème fraîche (205 g) and cherries on top before sprinkling with a little more soft light brown sugar (60 g) if desired and finishing with a roll lid.
